AOQ NSW Six Sigma Capability

One of the objectives of the AOQ NSW is to provide members and other clients with cost effective training services with the highest standard of expertise and desired outcomes to meet the need of our customers.

AOQ NSW Six Sigma strategy is one of the programs utilised by AOQ NSW to continually improve the desired outcomes of processes, projects and services. This strategy is made to measure and to meet the need of our customers.

Six Sigma is a disciplined methodology which uses statistical process control (SPC) techniques to reduce variation in business processes. By reducing variation any organization can reduce cost, improve cycle times, reduce customer complaints and improve the bottom line.

Six Sigma Yellow Belt - FREE Training Opportunity for financial AOQ-NSW Members

At the last AOQ AGM (August 2007) the Chair of the AOQ Training Committee Mr.Vas KANDIAH presented a brief paper on the use of Six Sigma methodology for AOQ internal improvement initiatives.

The AOQ Chairman Mr.Shan RUPRAI is now championing five key Six Sigma projects for AOQ-NSW. Mr.Vas KANDIAH (AOQ Master Black Belt and ASQ-CSSBB) will manage the AOQ-NSW Six Sigma program and the associated training, assisted by fellow training committee members.
Mr. Lou MAGRITZER and Mr. Bill NASH.

The particular Six Sigma improvement projects currently identified are:
1. QMS
2. Training programs
3. Management Policy
4. Financial Management Process
5. External Relationships & Political engagemen

As part of this unique program all AOQ Board Members have the chance to be trained in Six Sigma methodology and will lead ASQ-NSW Six Sigma projects under the guidance of the Master Black Belt.

Unique opportunity for financial AOQ-NSW Members (Individual and Corporate members)

As part of the above initiative FREE Introductory Yellow belt training will be offered to all project participants.

The projects will commence on Saturday the 06th October 2007. There are five places still available for interested AOQ Members to participate in this program in anyone of the above five projects. Selected applicants will work in teams to support their project leads. Please note the Free offer ends on 2nd October 2007.
