Internal Auditing - A Hands-On Approach

This two-day program introduces attendees to a practical approach for planning, implementing, reporting and monitoring internal audits as part of the effective management systems required in all types of businesses.

Consideration is given to the aspects of internal auditing of management systems, processes, records and products and services resulting from those systems and processes. The skills are applicable to Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, HACCP and other management system within the organisation.

The program requires no pre-requisites for participants. However, the ability to think logically, to examine documentation objectively and to prepare written reports to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives would be an advantage.

A number of interactive workshops are incorporated into the program to enhance the learning of the theory provided. These workshops consolidate the learning to enable the participants to gain practical application so that the skills can be actively used when they return to their workplace.

Cost

$770.00 for members of AOQ (GST inclusive)
$880 .00 for non-members of AOQ (GST inclusive)

(AOQ members receive a 10% discount for three or more people attending from the same organisation on the same course)

The cost includes coffee/tea on arrival, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, course notes and workshop materials.

Education & Training Cancellation Policy

The Education and Training Cancellation Policy sets out the Australian Organisation for Quality (NSW) Inc. (AOQ (NSW) Inc.) guiding principles in respect to cancellation by either the client or by AOQ (NSW) Inc.

Policy for Client Cancellations

All cancellations where a refund of fees is expected must be confirmed in writing before the refund will be paid. However, transfer requests to the next available course received in writing will be processed without charge.

Short Courses

One day and two days duration training course cancellations:· received more than five (5) clear working days before course commencement receive a full refund of fees paid,· received more than two (2) and less than five (5) clear working days prior to course commencement receive a 50% refund, and · received with two (2) working days or less notice, or where a course is not attended, forfeit the full course fee.

Long Courses

The five-day Quality Assurance Auditing Training (Lead Auditor) cancellations:· received more than ten (10) clear working days before course commencement receive a full refund of fees paid,· received more than five (5) and less than ten (10) clear working days prior to course commencement receive a 50% refund, and · received with five (5) working days or less notice, or where a course is not attended, forfeit the full course fee.

Client Specific (In-House)

Client Specific (In-House) training courses cancellations received more than four (4) clear weeks before course commencement receive a full refund of fees paid. Cancellations between four (4) clear weeks and two (2) clear weeks receive a 50% refund less $200 administration fee and cancellations received with two (2) weeks or less notice forfeit the full fee.

Education Courses

Education program cancellations require a minimum of four (4) weeks notice prior to course commencement to receive a full refund of fees. Cancellations with less than the four (4) weeks notice receive a refund of fees less a $300 administrative charge. Withdrawal from an education program once it has commenced will attract a charge which equates to the pro-rata fees for the remainder of the module in progress at the time of withdrawal, or $500, whichever is the greater.

Where the nominated student is unable to attend the course another person may be substituted at no additional cost. Substitutions are not permitted after the course has commenced.
