Certified Quality Technician

The Australian Organisation for Quality (AOQ) offers Certification for suitably qualified and experienced quality technicians through the Certified Quality Technician (CQT) program.

The CQT program provides the opportunity for attendees to be acknowledged through a combination of education, examination and experience. The program provides a thorough grounding in the aspects of quality relative to a Technical Officer position within any type of industry.

The emphasis is very firmly on developing practical skills and knowledge in contemporary methodologies, tools, techniques and systems that are relevant to today's business environment. The education component is 56 contact hours over 8 days face-to-face instruction.

Two examinations, each of two hours duration, enable the applicants to demonstrate their knowledge in the Principles of Quality and the Application of those principles.

Designed For

Technical staff required to operate within a systematic Quality environment and who need to have knowledge in the theory and application of tools and techniques for business monitoring and improvement.
