Our client is an iconic Australian transportation company that requires immediately a talented Internal Audit Manager to join their Sydney based team. Working close to the CBD, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the company achieves its quality and environmental goals using the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification system.
QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT MANAGER

- Lead and develop quality & environmental auditing
- Immediate Start, up to $110k + super
As a Finance & Accounting professional your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Maintenance and continued development of Quality and Environmental system documentation, processes and procedures
-Provision of Quality and Environmental systems training, liaison with key personnel
-Maintain and develop internal Quality and Environmental audit criteria and process to ensure continued currency, relevance and effectiveness
-Ensure corrective/preventive actions raised within the business as a result of audit activity
-Shared responsibility for the client’s legislative compliance with statutory OH&S, dangerous goods, environmental and other applicable legislation
Your Profile
-Working experience of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems, ideally within logistics, transportation or manufacturing
-Strong Finance/Accounting background is essential!
-Demonstrated ability to conduct audits, reviews and related projects
-Demonstrated ability to educate and motivate others to achieve set objectives
-Demonstrated project planning and time management skills
-Ability to build first class relationships
Whilst this position does not have any direct reports, it is essential that you are adept at working as part of a national management team, with strong proven ability of working closely with both local and interstate colleagues. With the responsibility of performing audits in New South Wales, you will be tasked with overseeing the work of regionally based Quality Auditors located at facilities in the ACT, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, WA and New Zealand
